Pirena is present in this unavoidable appointment with the world of the snow with a stand outside of the premises. In the inflatable igloo of Pirena the public can watch the documentary of the White Route of the Pyrenees, moving the visitors to the Pyrenees and making them live the experiences of the mushers. The children can feel the experience to go on sled and to be close to the athlete dogs of Pirena. |

| NOVA ICÀRIA (12th -14th January) | |

At the weekend of the 13rd - 14th January the caravan of the White Route of the Pyrenees will settle next to the sea to present some of the secrets of this great adventure. Again, the organisation will transform the sand of the Nova Icària beach into a real camping site in the purest style how they organize every competition day in the Pyrenees. |
Thousands of people will visit the beach of Nova Icària to live the adventure of Pirena - Grand Prix Affinity Advance. The public will enjoy the mushers’ performances and the dogs sliding on the sand, while the children could slide on the sleds. Throughout the weekend a group of entertainers will be in charge to organise games for the children. On Saturday night, to the light of the torches and bonfires the assistants will enjoy an exquisite paella. |

| PRESENTATION IN ZARAGOZA | |

The Popular Celebration in Zaragoza will give the starting signal of Pirena 2007. The celebration will take place on Saturday, 3rd January in the Paseo de la Independencia of Zaragoza. In this act the new features will be presented and the itinerary followed by the White Route of the Pyrenees between 3rd and 17th February and bibs hand-over to the participants. |
| During
the whole morning a group of entertainers will be in charge of games
for the children. The veterinarians of Pirena will explain to those
present the characteristics of these athlete dogs. There will be
an exhibition of dogs on sleds, in which some of the assistants
could participate. It is a unique chance to know closely this sport
and to enjoy a pleasant morning together with the dogs of Pirena. |

| FINAL PARTY IN LA MOLINA | |

Following the
tradition, PIRENA last stage will be celebrated in La Molina ski
resort, pioneer in the introduction of the winter sports in our
country. Music, happiness, party, the final awards … the participants
and the organisation invite to everybody to La Molina in an ideal
environment to celebrate the traditional Winter Party in La Molina
and the Pirena Great Awards Ceremony. |
It is a great event, the most multitudinous in the Pyrenees, that
assembles thousands of people who attend, every year live, the Pirena
Awards Ceremony, the spectacular descend of torches and the classic
fireworks. The ski resort of La Molina is governed by the society Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya who has always showed a special sensibility for Pirena. The Molina also is the pioneer in special facilities for the disabled people. |
