FAIR PLAY
Pirena is different. Mushing is made of another kind of spirit, a special sensibility is always present and this makes a leader able to lose his leadership in order to help another participant keeping competitive spirit. This is exactly what happened in the second stage of Pirena in Formigal. The German Skijorer Karin Gruber-Pestel fell in a difficult frozen slope where her dogs slided and she could not get up. Fortunately the Czech Jiri Suchy (team Formigal) went by and helped her with the dogs. Both of them couls finish the stage. Jiri Suchy invested more than two minutes in the act. Therefore he lost the leadership and the Norwegian Lena Boysen Hillestad took advantage and she is now heading the general table.
