Pla de Beret.- Mushers and dogs arrived in Catalonia and found very low temperatures.

Tom Andres is still the champion. The Bavarian musher, Team Gaes, completed the t25 Km.long trail, joining Peak De L'Orri to Beret and Montgarri, in 57 minutes and 59 seconds. Iker Ozcoidi, team Gaes, arrived thirty seconds after and later the Swiss Monika Frauchiger, one of the two women competing in this Pirena.

Jesús Raigoso, team Advance, third and keeps his second place in the general table. He is a very nice surprise in this twentieth edition of the race. He stated: "I've come with the same dogs. However, this year we've trained hard in Navarra, Beret and Soria. My goal is finishing among the five first classified. From tomorrow onwards we'll know who is fighting for the firts places. Personally, I'm good at short stages and severe slopes. Therefore long trails are a real challenge for our sled.".

In skijoring class there was a leadership chang: the Czech Jiri Suchy took the "Blue Maillot" from Lena Boysen Hillestad.

Tonight the first nocturnal stage in this Grand Prix Advance will take place: the traditional descent to Montgarri, bonfire included.
