In the end 36 teams started in the Pirena: 27 sleds and 9 skijorers.

 

Tom Andres (team GAES) was the champion today in sleds class and this way he shows his ability in order to win. Andres, champion in Pirena 2010, was 2 minutes and two seconds faster than the Czech Pavel Pfeifer (team Andorra) and 2 minutes and a half than the Spaniard Jesús Raigoso (Team Advance).

 

In other classes the Centre-European teams dominated as well: in sleds class the German Tamara Schlemmer (Agua de Veri) invested one hour and a half to complete the 27 Km. long trail; twenty minutes fater than the second team, Lázaro Martínez (Lazaro?s Team), champion last year.

 

In skijoring class, the Czech Jiri Suchy surprised everybody winning over the Norwegian Lena Boysen Hillestad.
